Automate Lift Station Clean-Out for FOG (Fat, Oil, and Grease) Remediation & More. The fully mechanical systems from Anue Water Technologies, Inc. (AWT) will significantly lower lift station maintenance costs. The AWT systems recycle wastewater by returning a fractional amount of the discharging wastewater into the wet well. This process keeps the lift station free of fat, oil and grease (FOG) build-up, as well as creates ideal conditions for promoting pretreatment in the well. Recycling Reconditions and Promotes Pretreatment. AWT systems produce interrelated actions that promote pretreatment. By returning wastewater into the lift station, solids are physically broken down and oxygen levels significantly increase. With the Anue system installed approximately four feet (1.2 meters) above the wet well high water level, solids, resident biological cultures and high levels of oxygen are mixed creating a dynamic, aerobic process promoting pretreatment and cost-savings for on-going cleaning. Comparing conventional methods for cleaning lift stations such as the use of high energy consumption vacuum trucks or clean water wash down, users readily see how Anue systems can reduce energy consumption and the associated carbon footprint. Even more, the essence of the Anue system is recycling - using the resident wastewater to produce aforementioned benefits of cleaning and pretreatment. AWT systems can enable implementation of green technology strategies for both municipal and private users alike.
